Handsewn and embroidered masks are made by women of Nahuatl and Ngiwa origins in the areas surrounding Puebla, Mexico. These masks help support jobs for women in these small communities.
The colorful flowers on the white, black, and children's masks all differ slightly, each mask its own unique piece of art! The different embroidery and colors are characterized by the artisans unique culture.
